This is our flagship trip spanning most of the Albertine Rift through 3 countries (ALBERTINE RIFT UGANDA, ALBERTINE RIFT WESTERN TANZANIA, ALBERTINE RIFT NORTHERN ZAMBIA): here you will experience its diverse landscapes and cultures to the full. The highlights of the trip include chimp trekking in tropical mountains (Mahale), experiencing Lake Tanganyika's long shoreline, superb wildlife viewing (Katavi), and nature immersion (Zambia waterfalls). Add to experiencing one of the most vibrant African cities (Kampala). This trip could be customized to match your preferences and shortened or extended by several days to easily make it a three-week trip. For example, gorilla trekking and then crossing through Rwanda en route south is recommended. The departure is from Kasama (Zambia) with its regular internal flights to Lusaka, which is well connected for international return connections.
