We recently had the pleasure of hosting our friends from Classic Africa Safaris, on their inaugural trip with us, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect for the curious traveler.
Just as the early rains kissed the land, the once-parched landscapes erupted into a vibrant, radiant green. Imagine vast expanses of fresh grass stretching as far as the eye can see, making for incredibly easy and rewarding walks. This “green season” is a hidden gem for wildlife viewing. With new grazing grounds aplenty, the plains become a magnet for a diverse array of animals. Our camp, nestled amidst this verdant bounty, became a vibrant hub of activity. We witnessed the gentle giants of several elephant herds, graceful antelopes, and even a curious warthog casually strolling by – a true immersive experience!
The accompanying images tell a remarkable story: the majestic Nyamsika cliffs, transformed in a mere two to three weeks from stark, burnt hues to a lush blanket of green. It’s a vivid reminder of nature’s incredible regenerative power.
